A New Book Is Taking Shape

Well, it has happened again. I started writing a new book without having a proper title for it, which is probably not the most organized way to write a novel 😂.

For now, I'm calling it The Cold Lake Below.

It's a psychological thriller, although I'm not going to tell you too much about the story just yet. There is a lake. A very dark and very creepy lake. There is a white Alsatian who seems to have a habit of appearing at awkward moments, and there is a mother and daughter whose relationship is about to become a lot more complicated.

The lake is really at the heart of the story. As a child, I used to visit a lake in the forest in the Netherlands, and there was always something that bothered me: the type of place that looks perfectly harmless until you stop and think about what might be lurking beneath the surface.

I'm still writing, so the title may change, and the cover certainly will. For now, though, The Cold Lake Below is what I'm calling it.

I'll let you know how it develops.
